What is a Relaxed/Chilled Event?

VillaGaiety is committed to providing performances that allow everyone to experience the wonder of theatre. Relaxed / Chilled Performances are open to all, however, designed to welcome visitors with a disability or sensory sensitivities, their friends, and families to the theatre and offers the following:

• Lights in the auditorium are kept low so it’s not too dark
• You can make noise during the show
• You can come and go as you please
• If you need a break there are chill-out areas in the foyer/bars
• There are no trailers prior to the feature

Who is a Relaxed/Chilled Event for?

Relaxed/Chilled Performances are open to anyone, although structured specifically for those who would benefit from a more relaxed environment. This can include, but is not limited to, people with autism, sensory sensitivities, Tourette's syndrome, learning disabilities, or dementia, as well as people living with anxiety or people who have experienced trauma.

What is a Parent & Baby Event?

Who is a Parent & Baby Event for?

Parent and Baby events are primarily intended for new parents with children aged 0-2, but are equally recommended to all customers who would prefer the more accessible atmosphere, as with Relaxed/Chilled events above. These films will be exclusively age certification 12A and under.
