Bookings cannot be changed to different shows or events.

However if a show or event has multiple performances, tickets may be exchanged for different date within the run (subject to seat availability).

If you would like to exchange tickets, you must contact the box office at least 48 hours beforehand.

You will be liable to pay any difference in price, if applicable.

Some production companies may offer discounts on certain performances.

These offers will either be using a promo code that must be applied before choosing your tickets, or will automatically apply to your cart.

Check the show information for further details.

Please note that discounts/special offers are usually only available for a limited time, and cannot be applied to existing bookings.

Unfortunately, we aren't able to accept wheelchair/accessible bookings online.

To make a booking, please call the box office during opening hours.

The ticket price you see advertised is the price you pay.

All ticket prices include a 2% booking fee which covers the costs associated with processing your booking.

Additional fees will apply when extra services are added to your booking, i.e. postage charges, donations or ticket protection.

VillaGaiety gift vouchers can be purchased via our online shop, over the phone or in person at the Villa Marina or Welcome Centre.

Vouchers are valid for 18 months from the time of purchase, and can be redeemed against any events taking place at our venues.

Concessions may be available for:

  • Under 16s
  • Over 65s
  • Families (2 adults & 2 under 16s / 1 adult & 3 under 16s)

The box office reserves the right to ask for proof of entitlement to concessions.

In all instances, under 16s must be accompanied by an adult (18+).

For family shows, children under 2 do not need a ticket if they will be sat on their parent/guardian's knee.

Tickets

When booking tickets, you can choose from the following delivery methods:

  • eTickets - Your tickets will be at the bottom of your confirmation email, which can be displayed from your mobile device upon entry. There is also a link to download and print your tickets if preferred.
  • Collection - Tickets can be collected from the Villa Marina or Welcome Centre during opening hours. For events at the Gaiety Theatre, tickets can also be collected at the venue 1 hour before the event.
  • Postage - There is a £1.50 charge for postage. Tickets are usually dispatched within 3 working days of purchase. Postage is not available within 72 hours of the event.

If you booked through another ticketing provider (e.g. Ticketmaster, TicketWeb, See Tickets, Ticketline) you can expect your tickets a few weeks before the event. Please contact them directly with any queries as VillaGaiety does not have the details of these bookings.

Where an event is sold out (and there are customers on the waiting list), VillaGaiety can attempt to resell your tickets if requested, however this is not guaranteed.

You are welcome to pass tickets on to friends/family or sell them privately - however if you sell for profit or commercial gain, your tickets will be voidable.

Transferring tickets/purchasing tickets privately is done at your own risk and VillaGaiety is not responsible if issues arise upon entry.

If you've misplaced your printed tickets, you can get these re-printed at the box office. Please be aware that re-printed tickets have the same barcode as the original copy, and they can only be scanned once upon entry (so if someone has your original copy and enters before you, your re-printed tickets will not scan).

It is your responsibility to keep your tickets safe.

There currently isn't a way to transfer tickets to other people though our system - however this is something our ticketing provider will be introducing soon.

At the moment, eTickets are issued within your confirmation email which can be displayed on your phone. You can screenshot tickets to send to others, however, please be aware that each QR code is unique and can only be scanned once.

You can differentiate between eTickets by looking at the check-in code beneath the QR code.

For most pop/rock concerts, the downstairs area of the Villa Marina Royal Hall will be general admission.

You have the option to stand on the dance floor or occupy one of the unreserved seats around the edge of the dance floor.

There are approx. 400 seats available downstairs, filled on a first-come first-served basis.

Gaiety Theatre

The Gaiety Theatre has 2 bars - one in the Arcade (Stalls level) and one at the Dress Circle level. The Dress Circle bar will remain closed during quieter performances. Please note that drinks from the bar cannot be taken into the auditorium.

There is also a kiosk in the Dress Circle selling hot & cold drinks, sweets and snacks.

The bars/kiosk close 5 minutes before the performance is due to begin, and opens again during the interval. All bars/kiosk accept cash and card.

Villa Marina

The Royal Hall has 2 bars downstairs and 1 upstairs.

Drinks can be brought into the hall, however please note that glass is not permitted. Depending on the type of event, bars may be closed during the performance.

The Promenade Suite and and Colonnade Suite have their own dedicated bars.

Please note that our bars have limited drink options to assist with quick service - cocktails, shots and other speciality drinks are not available.

Hot & cold drinks, sweets and snacks are available from the vending machines located upstairs in the foyer.

All outlets accept cash and card.

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate these requests for most events.

Shout outs can be requested for pantomime shows by notifying front of house staff before the performance.

Strobe lighting, lighting that produces stroboscopic effects, smoke machines, pyrotechnical effects and visual effects other theatrical effects may be used during some of our shows and events. We are aware that sound levels at some of our events may be a cause for concern for some customers. As a venue, we may only have minimal input with regards to sounds levels at live music events.

The vast majority of artists and shows that we host in our venues have their own sound and lighting system which are run by their engineers. We do, however, monitor both sound quality and decibel levels and advise production crews as and when necessary to ensure compliance with legal limits. Earplugs are available on request for customers who may have concerns about the noise level.

If you are concerned or have any queries about these effects, please contact the Box Office in advance of purchasing your tickets and our staff will do their best to advise you if they are being used or endeavour to find out.

The Isle of Man has a vibrant theatre community and local productions play an important part of VillaGaiety's yearly programme.

The Island is home to several amateur and semi-professional organisations, who are always looking for new local talent to join their productions.

If you're interested in getting involved (both on or off stage) we suggest getting in touch with them directly:
