What is a Relaxed / Chilled Performance?

VillaGaiety is committed to providing performances that allow everyone to experience the wonder of theatre. Relaxed / Chilled Performances are open to all, however, designed to welcome visitors with a disability or sensory sensitivities, their friends, and families to the theatre and offers the following:

• Lights in the auditorium are kept low so it’s not too dark
• You can make noise during the show
• You can come and go as you please
• If you need a break there are chill-out areas in the foyer/bars

Who is a Relaxed / Chilled Performance for?

Relaxed / Chilled Performances are open to anyone, although structured specifically for those who would benefit from a more relaxed environment. This can include, but is not limited to, people with autism, sensory sensitivities, Tourette's syndrome, learning disabilities, or dementia, as well as people living with anxiety or people who have experienced trauma.
