Mini Musicians Presents: A Walk in the Woods

EVENT INFORMATION

Joining the line-up for the second year of Spark we’re delighted to welcome Mannin Music to help us celebrate the wonder of nature as they take children and adults alike on a musical journey through the woods!

Mannin Music’s Mini Musician classes are a colourful and child friendly approach to developing the natural musicality of small children. The classes use the Colour strings method, which is based on Kodály’s approach to music education.

Classes are held all over the Island and are taught by professional musicians, who also have specialist early years music training. Many children progress through the baby and toddler classes, and go on to learn instruments in the Mini Musicians instrumental groups. This year Mini Musicians is proud to be celebrating it's 10th birthday!

USEFUL INFORMATION

Age guidance 

• Suitable for ages 1-5. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult (18+) 

Tickets 

• Please note tickets are required for participating children ONLY, tickets are not required for accompanying adults. Due to capacity restrictions, a maximum of TWO accompanying adults per child will be permitted.

Sessions (limited availability available)

Session 1 

• Doors 9.15am 
• Starts 9.30am

Session 2

• Doors 11am
• Starts 11.15am

This is a General Admission event.

Location 

• Colonnade Suite, Villa Marina

Session duration 

• The sessions are 45 minutes of interactive music making, followed by up to 30 minutes of free play with the instruments. There is no expectation for the children to join in with all of the session, but we would ask that care givers do participate. Please make sure that children are supervised around instruments at all times. 

Booking fee

• All ticket prices for live performances only are subject to a 5% booking fee, which will be applied at the point of sale to all purchases, whether made online or in person at our Box Office.
