MANX MASKS FOR MAYHEM
Saturday 24th October – Villa Arcade - Tickets £12
Location: Villa Marina Arcade
Host: Kensington Arts
Get ready for a little Manx mask mayhem as part of Culture Vannin’s Big Day out in Douglas.
Come along to our pop-up Art Tank workshop and create your very own 3D mask using recycled cardboard, paper, and all sorts of crafty bits and pieces.
Choose your favourite beastly character, from quirky cats to spooky skulls, goblins, bugganes, mysterious keimaghs and more. Then glue, decorate and transform it however you like. Add feathers, googly eyes, collage, colour and plenty of personality to make your mask completely your own – and learn a bit of spooky Manx Gaelic while you do it!
The masks are made from pre-cut cardboard pieces, so the workshop is all about building, decorating and getting creative rather than fiddly cutting.
No two masks need to look the same. Cute, creepy, colourful or completely bonkers, you decide!
