Isle of Man Symphony Orchestra - Summer Concert of Classical Favourites

SHOW DESCRIPTION

IOMSO presents a programme of much-loved classical pieces : 

Rossini’s William Tell Overture

Grieg’s beautiful Piano Concerto with brilliant young pianist Dominika Mak from London. 

Bizet’s L’Arlésienne Suite and the ever-popular Enigma Variations by Elgar.

Guest conductor Stephen Threlfall (formerly sub-principal cellist in BBC Philharmonic and director of music at Chethams School of Music 1995-2019) shares the conducting with Graham Kirkland. Leading the orchestra are Juliet Tranter and Victoria Hope.
