SHOW DESCRIPTION

Step Into the Magic of Manx Myth

What if the creatures of Manx legend weren’t just stories, but real enough to brush past you in the dark? This March, Fand, wife of Manannan Mac Lir, invites you into her world - a place where ancient tales still breathe, and where the line between myth and reality blurs in the most wonderful ways.

"Fand’s Story" is a brand-new family production brought to life in a way that’s uniquely Manx. Every scene, every moment, every twist of the tale has been written by the actors themselves; crafted from their own ideas and connection to the island’s folklore. It’s a rare chance to see a home-grown story unfold onstage, shaped by the very people performing it.

Expect warmth, laughter, mystery, and a few surprises as these legendary characters reveal themselves in ways you’ve never seen before. It’s a show filled with heart, imagination, and the unmistakable spirit of the Isle of Man.

Join us on 5th–6th March 2026 at the Gaiety Theatre for an experience the whole family can share and remember long after the curtain falls.

Come and be part of a story only the Isle of Man could tell.
