SHOW DESCRIPTION

7,000 stranded passengers. One small town. A remarkable true story.

Winner of four Olivier Awards, including Best New Musical, and the Tony Award for Best Direction of a Musical, Come From Away is the smash-hit musical based on the incredible true story of a 7000 airline passengers from around the world who were unexpectedly grounded in Canada in the wake of 9/11, and the small Newfoundland town that welcomed them with open hearts.

Set in Gander, Newfoundland, the show tells the real-life stories of the locals who opened the homes, community halls, and lives to these "come from aways", forging friendships that would last a lifetime. Told with warmth, humour, and compassion, Come From Away celebrates the very best of humanity at a moment when the world needed it most. Featuring a joyous, folk-inspired score and a fast-paced ensemble cast portraying real people whose lives were forever changed, in a cleverly staged, uplifting and life-affirming musical which is a powerful celebration of hope, kindness, and unity.

Two Feathers Production are delighted to welcome back West End and Broadway Director and Choreographer Tara Overfield-Wilkinson, and are proud to bring this extraordinary true story to the Gaiety Theatre stage in a production that will have audiences on their feet night after night.
