Celebrating the people who bring the Gaiety Theatre to Life - Gena's Dance Academy

We caught up with Gena ahead of the big night to hear more about the production, the joy of rehearsals and why creating opportunities for young people through dance is so important.

Cirque De Danse is a fun upbeat dance show featuring 200 young dancers from across the Island taking the audience through a journey of dance delights with a circus theme.

𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗲, 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗮 𝘁𝗿𝘆?

To support our local up and coming talent and future performers. Also ideal for those who perhaps have young family members who may wish to start dancing or performance to see what we are all about!

Dance gives many children a sense of belonging and our academy is a ‘safe space’ for a lot of dancers particularly our teenage dancers. Dance also provides children with life skills that they can take with them through adult hood.
