Synopsis: A fast-living, cynical London music executive (Danny Mays) heads to a remote Cornish village on a stag weekend where he’s pranked by his boss (Noel Clarke) into trying to sign a group of shanty singing fishermen (led by James Purefoy). He becomes the ultimate ‘fish out of water’ as he struggles to gain the respect or enthusiasm of the unlikely boy band and their families (including Tuppence Middleton) who value friendship and community over fame and fortune. As he’s drawn deeper into the traditional way of life he’s forced to re-evaluate his own integrity and ultimately question what success really means.

Description

‘Snack and Screen’ – our hugely popular cinema special and the SEVENTH in our ‘Snack and Screen’ event series, is returning in March. ‘Flo the Coffee Van’ will be back to team up with Broadway Cinema for our mid-week movie and munchies special.

 This coming March we’ll be screening the new feelgood film ‘Fisherman’s Friends’.

 

Synopsis

Our mid-week movie special costs just £12 (inc. of 2% booking fee) and includes a choice of one of Flo’s delicious signature hot drinks, a small Manx sourced snack plate consisting of three small sandwiches with set fillings of grated Cheese, Tuna Mayo, Roast Turkey and a freshly baked cake slice. All this, plus discounted admission to the film.
