Beer and Cider Festival featuring over 100 'Real' cask conditioned ales, approx. 20 'Craft' ales and 60 'Real' ciders & perries (All as defined by CAMRA - the Campaign for Real Ale) together with fruit wines and meads - sourced from around the UK as well as locally.
The bars in the venue operate on a 'cashless' basis using tokens to be purchased on entry in the foyer (Value £7).
Top-up tokens (Value £5) also available from the Membership stand in the Royal Hall (opposite the stage).
Any unused tokens are refundable, in multiples of 50p; alternatively these may be donated to the Festival 'Good Cause' - St John Ambulance.
Glasses must also be obtained on entry in the foyer together with a festival programme featuring beer, cider/perry and fruit wine/mead lists and tasting notes - price: £3 (£2 of which is refundable on return of the glass - unless retained as souvenir).
Card-carrying CAMRA members can obtain a free beer token (50p less than entry fee) from the Membership stand.
The Festival is organised and staffed entirely by volunteers.
Please note that only a limited amount of tickets are available to book in advance. Further tickets will be available at the box office each day.
