In person from The Welcome Centre at the Sea Terminal Douglas.

 

Does everyone need a ticket?

Everyone who attends a show must be in possession of a valid ticket.  ‘Babes in Arms’ under 2 years of age, who will be seated on an adults lap, do not require a ticket - this applies at the Gaiety Theatre.

 

Can I book tickets if I am a wheelchair user?

Yes, tickets can be booked by calling the box office on 01624 600555.

 

Are there any disabled facilities at the venue?

Villa Marina: There is an electric entry door for wheelchair users - this leads into the main entrance. We have accessible toilets and lifts to all floors.  There is also car parking for disabled permit holders. 

Gaiety Theatre: Access to Stalls for Wheelchair users and accessible toilets, please note there are no lifts in the Gaiety Theatre so wheelchair users will not be able to access levels above the stalls.  If you need assistance at the venue, please do not hesitate to contact any of our stewards who will assist wherever possible.

 

Can I cancel my tickets?

We regret that we cannot refund tickets unless the event is cancelled or changes considerably e.g. if the event is moved to a new date.

 

Can I take photographs during the events?

Cameras, audio and video equipment are not allowed. Please ensure that all mobile phones, pagers or alarms are switched off before entering the auditorium.

 

What is the age restriction for events?

Villa Marina & Gaiety Theatre: Children aged under 16yrs MUST be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or above when attending shows at the venue (unless specifically stated otherwise). Children under the age of 16 should not purchase tickets unless they are being accompanied by an adult. 

Villa Marina:  Shows which have Standing/Unreserved seating, Under 14's must have a seat UPSTAIRS & will not be allowed in the downstairs area.

Under 10yrs will only be admitted to the Villa Marina for specified children’s shows.

 

Why do you charge booking charges?

Booking charges cover the external hosting/management service of the ticketing system in regard to costs of running the ticketing system and computer network operating a 24/7 service.  The amount we charge is 2% of the ticket price.

 

Is there An ATM machine on the premises?

Not on the premises – there is an ATM machine within a 5min walk at Shoprite Chester Street

 

Can I bring food & drink to an event?

No, food or drink purchased outside the Villagaiety is not permitted to be taken into the Venue/s.

 

What are the opening times for an event ?

Door opening times vary from show-to-show. Please refer to your ticket for door opening times or visit the box office website for show information.

 

Are there car parking spaces at the Villa Marina/Gaiety Theatre?

There is parking for a limited number of vehicles at the Villa Marina; there is also a Pay & Display car park in Chester Street, 2 min drive from Gaiety Theatre & Villa Marina.

 

What is the capacity of a Box in the Gaiety Theatre?

A Box at the Gaiety Theatre seats a maximum of 4 people - all patrons must be seated. A Box is charged as a Box and not by occupancy.
